Been holding MTN and Airtel shares since IPOs, in floating losses at current market prices so I stubbornly refuse to sell.
Recently visited Rwanda to get insights on their new ETF but was surprised to learn from one of the stock brokers (BK capital) that the Rwanda Stock Exchange does not have a digital trading platform. How are you able to participate in that market ?
Good and insightful piece, thanks Alex. Could you also enlighten us about the requirements or process for an Ugandan investor to participate in a foreign stock or bond in Markets like Kenya, South Africa or Rwanda.
